Job description
The Head of Digital Platforms is responsible for the management, development and delivery of digital services to the consumer across the different channels (websites, apps, online portals,…). The Head of Digital Platforms reports to the CIO and is a member of the IT leadership team.
Size of the team: 5 direct reports and a total team of 35 Team Members.
The head of Digital Platforms supports the overall digital strategy.
- Co-developing and executing the strategy for the Digital Platforms domain.
- Managing the team responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of the digital services platforms.
- Leading the Design of Solutions in digital services platforms.
- Delivering projects in digital services platforms.
- Working with other departments within the organization to ensure that Digital platforms are aligned with the overall business strategy and can support its continuous evolution.
- Supporting the collection and analysis of data from digital services platform to improve user experience and drive business growth.
- Assuring alignment and compliance.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital services.
Required experience
This role is for a seasoned IT professional with a track record designing and delivering solutions in the Digital Customer Experience domain and should include:
- 10 years in a similar managerial position leading IT staff (team development, budgeting, vendor & contract management,…);
- Extensive experience managing complex projects (including change management);
- Track record designing and delivering technology solutions (in complex IT landscapes);
- Experience in package application selection and implementation (with comprehensive knowledge of market solutions) in particular in the DXP (Digital Service Platforms) area;
- Deep knowledge of marketing technologies (SEO, SERP, analytics), content management, website & app delivery, personalization engines,…
- Understanding of business & marketing concepts used in the day to day operation (ex: journey, segmentation, targeting…);
- Experience in an industry involving the production and delivery of content in a fully digital ecosystem;
- IT experience in B2C Marketing environment;
- MBA/training/experience covering basic management concepts;
