Our client is a Unified Communication Service Provider based in the Walloon Brabant region.
They handle the installation and support of Unified Communication solutions for thousands of organizations, regardless of their size.

Functieomschrijving

We are looking for a UC Support Engineer to act as the technical backbone behind our Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) platform.

In this role, you work closely with partners and business customers to ensure smooth deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of our cloud-based telephony and collaboration solutions. You’ll combine strong technical skills with a customer-centric mindset to solve complex issues and deliver outstanding service.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd-line technical support for our UCaaS platform (telephony, PBX, SIP/VoIP, meetings, messaging, contact center).

  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to IP networking, VoIP, SIP, routing, firewalls, QoS, and device provisioning.

  • Support partners and customers with setup, configuration, porting, call routing, and integrations.

  • Deliver technical trainings and onboarding sessions to partners and end customers.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Customer Success) to escalate and follow up on complex cases.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.

  • Proactively identify recurring problems and suggest improvements to tools, processes, and platform performance.

 

Vereiste ervaring

  • Broad IT background and genuine interest in modern cloud and communication technologies.
  • Good understanding of IP networking (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, QoS), VoIP, and Unified Communications.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured, hands-on approach.

  • Customer-first mindset and the ability to explain technical topics clearly to different audiences.

  • Organized, proactive, and eager to continuously improve processes and ways of working.

  • Either Dutch & French, or French & English fluently – able to deliver trainings in both.

  • Comfortable working with technical documentation in English.
