Job description

• Lead a project team of technical project engineers, customer engineers, and solutions architects, supported by the Account Manager.
• You’ll have total ownership of your projects, coordinating clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and our internal experts.
• You’ll get to manage projects both from a business and project perspective.
• You’ll report to the Business Unit Manager concerning project status with PM highlight reports, potential risks using project risk registers, and technical issues through ERP systems and project management tools.

On top of that, you’ll be…

• The technical go-to contact for clients, engaging with them and identifying their wishes and requirements, which you’ll report to your co-workers.
• Defining the project approach with our project team to develop, implement, and follow up on detailed and complex project implementation plans.
• Identifying, managing, and reporting on potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Managing tech issues, following up on them, and escalating them to suppliers whenever necessary.
• Working together with the Account Manager to detect, generate and manage change requests – and pitch these to the client.
• Ensuring the quality of the deliverables matches the project scope and budget.
• Supporting sales by advising on operational aspects at the tender stage (planning, installation budget, project approach…).

Required experience

• You have a technical bachelor or master’s degree, with +5 years of relevant project management experience in IT and/or telecommunications.
• A first proven successful experience managing complex projects is a must!
• Fluency in Dutch and English are a must. Knowledge of French is a major asset.
• You know your way around project management methodologies like PRINCEII – proven certification is a big plus! 
• IT tools like MS Office hold no secrets for you.
