Our customer is a GIS software distributor and has a broad experience in GIS implementation, as well in public as in private organisations. In Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg their software is the GIS standard. Our customer has a reference list of about 400 clients, including national, regional, provincial and local administrations, universities, map providers such as TeleAtlas and the National Geographic Institute and a growing number of private companies.
Our customer is not only a software distributor, but offers a broad range of professional services, including requirement assessments, consulting services, system design and engineering, application design and development, database design, data conversion and integration, project management, implementation, custom training,...
Description du poste
As a sales manager you will assist the company with business plan creation and execution. Providing structure, transparancy continuous follow-up, providing guidance and direct support to the sales responsibles and guiding the operational execution of the direct field sales force are key responsibilities in this high growth environment.You will work close together with the Managing Director and report to him.
The present sales force consists of backoffice, sales officers and account mangers and counts 12 persons.
We are looking for a seasoned and hands on manager who is willing to combine this people management role with a field sales responsibility for some time, in order to support the expansion of our client.
Expérience requise
- University or higher degree
- Proven sales management & people management experience
- Entrepreneurial attitude and experience in the mid market
- Ability to introduce structure and process
- Proven consultative selling skills in B2B direct sales
- Successful track record in selling GIS software solutions
- Business development and prospecting ability and motivation
- Credibility at the CxO level and with Line of Business Managers
- Entrepreneurial and competitive attitude with optimistic outlook
- ICT generalist knowledge of the enterprise infrastructure domain
- Ability to connect IT capabilities to business goals and needs
- GIS sales background is an asset
- Teamplayer who is eager to over-achieve
