Our client is an IT company dedicated to the development, integration, adaptation and support of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), with various subsidiaries in Flanders and Wallonia. In order to strengthen their team, they are looking for a several Community BDM profiles (Government/AEC/Utilities/EU).
Description du poste
- As Community BDM (Government/AEC/Utilities/EU) with passion and enthusiasm, you will build the market development with existing clients but especially with new clients and help them to understand and work out projects where the GIS technology improves their business and processes. You will inform and inspire potential clients, dynamize your network and build the Government/AEC/Utilities/EU community in Belgium and Luxembourg.
- You are the point of contact in the sector of Government/AEC/Utilities/EU. You are focused on the development of the market and you are/will be the expert in Belgium and Luxembourg with the approach and expertise to help clients in both the thought process and the improvement process in order to realise the added value of GIS.
- You are the advising partner towards the clients. You understand how their business model and processes.
- You are aware of (and follow) new trends and can indicate how technology can help (potential) clients to solve bottlenecks, improve their business processes and realise their strategy.
- You build a lasting relationship with the customer and guide the customer to a closing deal You give the right effort and focus to each step of the sales cycle, focus on the business side of the deals and make sure that the leads and opportunities are managed in an efficient way
- You guide and support existing and new customers in the elaboration of the projects, offer your vision and insight and ensure that the implementation runs smoothly together with your colleagues.
- You are the contact point and account manager for existing and new clients
- You build and manage your network in a dynamic way. You create your network of influencers and the active core (who give you feedback and provide insight), …
- You create the GIS community in Belgium and Luxembourg and are responsible for the dynamics of the community. You inform, inspire and help the community to have good knowledge and insights on how GIS can help them.
- You coordinate info-sessions, workshops, webinars, … and give your insights to the wide group of your network (white paper, posts, vision notes, strategy notes, …) and this throughout the different departments and levels of prospects and customers
- You coordinate the marketing campaigns aimed at informing, inspiring and helping customers and prospects at both management and operational levels.
- You are focused on the follow-up of projects and know how to guide, inspire and advise a client
- You can coordinate business consultancy and workshops and provide content, where through the various steps the customer sees further insight and opportunities for the implementation of the technology.
Expérience requise
- At least 5 years’ professional experience in the Government/AEC/Utilities/EU sector and a good understanding of all aspects of the process.
- Experience with the sale and/or implementation of IT solutions
- You are sales-oriented and get a kick out of realizing a deal where you help the customer to improve his business and processes.
- You have an IT solution oriented thinking level and you have a technical background with a very good understanding of Software, Technology (and preferably CAD/GIS)
- You already have an existing network within the Government/AEC/Utilities/EU world
