Our client is a leading network operator for gas and electricity in Brussels, with a team of over 1,000 dedicated employees.

The IT department supports all business activities across the company, ensuring our client has flexible IT systems that evolve with changing needs and technologies.

The IT department is composed of over 100 professionals, including a dedicated ERP team of 15 experts (project managers, functional analysts and developers). This ERP team plays a crucial role in supporting the HR, Finance, Logistics, and Procurement departments by optimizing their workflows and enhancing the overall user experience. To achieve this, the team adapts existing applications or develops new solutions that meet the needs of internal customers. 

For the ERP team, we are looking for a Functional Analyst SAP HR/SuccessFactors who will report directly to the ERP Team Manager.

Job description

As a Functional Analyst SAP HR/SuccessFactors, you will:

  • Take part in impactful projects from A to Z, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Gather and understand business requirements, translating them into functional solutions.
  • Analyze, design, and customize improvements to optimize SAP HR solutions.
  • Provide clear specifications to developers for implementation.
  • Oversee testing, quality checks, and implementation processes.
  • Resolve incidents and problems related to SAP HR.
  • Collaborate with the HR department and other IT teams to drive impactful changes.

Required experience

  • You have a degree in HR or IT (Master's or Bachelor's) or equivalent experience.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a functional analyst.
  • You have knowledge of SAP HR/Successfactors
  • You have a strong interest in HR systems and HR applications/solutions in general.
  • You are willing to develop and/or enhance your skills in SAP and functional analysis.
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills in one of the two official languages (Dutch and/or French) and a passive knowledge of the other language.
  • Knowledge of the energy sector and the S/4 HANA environment is an asset.
