Our customer is an international ICT company with an office in the Region of Leuven. To further strengthen their R&D department, they are looking for a Electronic Test Engineer.

Functieomschrijving

• You will study new products and attend training courses to keep abreast of the latest technologies.
• During the manufacturing process, electronic devices must pass various tests and inspections. When a defect or abnormality is found on a product, the diagnostic phase starts.
• You study the diagnostic messages from the test equipment. You search for the defective component and start coordinating the repair process.
• After the diagnosis is completed, you will create a report with photos, logs, measurements, .... and share your findings with the process engineer or R&D department for future improvements.

Vereiste ervaring

• Bachelor or Master in Electronics.
• Working experience with hardware electronics.
• A good understanding of hardware, the production process and a problem-solving attitude is required.
• Being able to perform a visual inspection with a microscope on the  hardware PCB .
• Soldering skills are required.
• Team player, attention to detail and eager to learn.
• Fluency in English and Dutch
