Our client is a main provider of software developing services in the transport industry, based in Brussels with offices close to a main railway station.

Functieomschrijving

Your focus will be on the follow-up of IT purchases and the management of these framework contracts. You will write the specifications after collecting the needs of internal customers and implement them according to the imposed business requirements.

• You will manage various specifications simultaneously from A to Z without losing the overview;
• You will be the first point of contact for procurement regarding these specifications;
• You’ll demonstrate creativity so that the right supplier can be selected, taking into account relevant  procurement procedures;
• You will inform all stakeholders involved at regular intervals.

Vereiste ervaring

• You have at least a bachelor's degree in IT or an IT related domain, or you’re equivalent through relevant professional experience;
• You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• You have experience with drawing up specifications for the public sector;
• You have a broad IT knowledge and demonstrate the desire to delve into new domains. You have strong organizational and planning skills;
• You are enterprising, you have a sense of initiative, you are able to work autonomously, and you take responsibility for your tasks;
• You are communicative and you have good active knowledge of English, Dutch and French, both spoken and written.

• Freelance assignment of at least 12 months, start preferably 1/1/2024;
• Day rate depending on experience and relevant professional experience;
