This company is a global manufacturing organisation specialising in the production of high-performance porcelain, glass, and metallurgical protective coatings and glass colouration at our dedicated facilities located in Belgium, Italy, France, UK and USA. 

Because of their growth they are looking for a Buyer Raw Materials.

Remote Workplace: Belgium, UK, France or Italy with occasionally travel.

Description du poste

As International Buyer Raw Materials you will define and implement the company's purchasing strategy : 

• Lead sourcing projects, identify cost reduction opportunities, and implement efficient purchasing practices
• Manage and optimize flows and stocks of raw materials 
• Evaluate suppliers and products, propose improvement areas

• Proactively manage commercial relations with technical suppliers
• Supervise supplies, manage stock levels, and coordinate stocktaking operations
• Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts
• You will be responsible for maintaining and further developing an international network of suppliers, taking into account specific market dynamics and volatility.

• You will provide benchmark information and keep abreast on market tendencies and changes. You will proactively search for new suppliers and initiatives in order to find new business opportunities from a procurement prospective.
• You will also be involved in the supply chain audit & optimalization.
• Analyse logistics data to identify inefficiencies, optimize routes, and reduce costs.
• Responsibele for data entry, cleaning an optimalization in SAP. 
• Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and implementing strategies to mitigate them.

Expérience requise

• Experience within purchasing and procurement with raw materials, supply chain
• Strong communication, commercial and negotiation skills in English
• Strong experience in SAP system
• Experience in stock management and inventory operations

• You can work completely independently, communicate very well and are a team player.

• No nonsense approach and problem-solving thinking is key.
• Dynamic, team player, and autonomous decision-making ability.
• You have a strong analytical skillset with the ability to effectively analyze market trends & dynamics, aligned with customer needs.

• You are results-oriented and like to take initiative. You combine this with a hands-on strategic approach.
• You are used to work in an international & industrial environment with a strong international, multi-cultural and customer-oriented mindset.
