Our client is a Network and Security integrator based in Diegem. They are looking to strengthen their team with an Account Manager Security and Network.

Job description

You will be responsible for positioning and selling our client’s security- and network portfolio. You will  advise existing and potential new customers in identifying, qualifying and influencing their security and fixed/cloud network requirements. 

You will ensure that you’re in constant contact with both your existing customers and potential new customers by offering relevant technology-, update- and networking events. Together with the  Presales Engineers, you will proactively engage with your customers and work closely with the vendors to increase new sales opportunities. You will initiate, qualify, demonstrate, offer, negotiate and ensure proper contract execution and you will follow-up so that your customers and our client come to a win-win situation.

  • You will have final commercial responsibility, which means : expansion of and active participation in the Belgian Enterprise market;
  • You will develop customer-specific solutions in collaboration with the Presales Engineers and other specialized departments;
  • You will set up presentation of the developed concepts to the customer;
  • You will draw up quotations and conduct contract negotiations;
  • You will maintain close contact with the account teams of the partner vendors;
  • You will share knowledge about leads, prospects and new customers with the Sales team;
  • You will develop corporate account strategies, vendor strategies and promotional communication channels to introduce, and you will promote solutions and services;
  • You will maintain excellent client relationships and continuously build a pipeline of opportunities. You will create and develop long-term partnerships.

Required experience

  • You own at least bachelor level of thinking and professional attitude, supplemented by at least 5 years of successful experience as IT and/or Telecom sales;
  • Having knowledge of and experience in the field of network infrastructure, cyber security, cloud and telecom is a plus;
  • You think on a strategic level, but you are also capable to act pragmatically to keep customer satisfaction high;
  • You are a sales person through and through and not afraid to get to know technologies and to sell them within a short period of time. You’re goal orientated, entrepreneurial. A hands-on approach and flexibility are part of your DNA;
  • You have proven to provide satisfied new customers, you are able to enter into long-term relationships with customer;
  • You’re able to switch quickly between the various teams within the company, such as Pre-Sales and Operations. A solid basic knowledge, eagerness to learn and/or a strong affinity with network integration and cybersecurity services are important conditions to succeed in this position;
  • Y are capable to develop plans to target new customers and use creative solutions to get to the table with customers and business partners;
  • You’re not only prepared to hunt : you love it.
  • You are a solid no-nonsense and proactive personality, you like to work based on personal targets and annual objectives.
  • You’re a real networker and you enjoy meeting new people and maintaining existing relationships.
  • You have good active knowledge of Dutch, English and French.
